Scotts Bluff National Monument is proud to bring Humanities Nebraska speaker, Jerome Kills Small, to the Scottsbluff/Gering community for “Songs & Dances of the Lakota” on Saturday, June 22nd at 11:00 a.m. An entertaining storyteller, Kills Small will describe the history and origin of Native American songs and dances during this interactive program perfect for all ages. Participants will even learn a traditional Lakota dance! The Lakota Lutheran Center will be selling Indian Tacos during the program.
