October 26, 2019 all-day
Alliance Public Library

The Alliance Public Library Foundation will host a new escape room for Halloween this year. The Séance Mystery room will run October 25, 26, 30, and 31 and will add a layer of mystery that goes beyond a regular escape room. This room combines elements of an escape room and an interactive murder mystery. Participants will decipher clues, open locks, and try to piece together evidence to determine who has committed a murder – with a few small scares thrown in for fun. The room is recommended for ages 10 and up, but we encourage parents to judge if it is suitable for their child.

Sessions will run on Friday, October 25 at 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m.; Saturday October 26 at 12:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m.; 4:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday October 31 at 4:00 pm, 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time. The entire experience takes about an hour and a half.
Reservations must be made and paid for in advance at the library circulation desk. Reservations can only be made during Library hours, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday, and 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Saturday. There are only fifteen sessions, so people are encouraged to sign up early.R
The cost is $10 per person, and all proceeds will benefit programming at the library.
