Panhandle Project Connect is a one-day, one-stop event that brings our community together to provide services and connect resources to people in the Panhandle who are experiencing homelessness, near homelessness or needing assistance with basic needs.

The event will be held Tuesday, September 17th at the Guadalupe Center (1200 E. 9th St, SB) from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.

The event is a multi-agency event in collaboration with the Panhandle Continuum of Care for Housing and Homelessness as an opportunity to provide a variety of free services that will include health screenings, haircuts and information on sexual & domestic violence services, housing, employment, food, legal aid, disability assistance, veteran’s services, adult education and more to help assist those in need.

Transportation to the event will be available for those needing that service from the following companies:

Scottsbluff-Gering– Tri City Roadrunner will provide free service to anyone attending this event from 1:30-6:30pm, just let the bus driver know. If you need help coordinating services call (308) 436-6751 24-hours prior to the event.

Alliance- Panhandle Trails Intercity Public Transit -call (308) 761-8747 to book your round trip- $15/per person.

Kimball- Call (308)-235-0262 or log onto www.kimballtransit.com to book your round trip ride -$10/person.

Chadron– Panhandle Trails Intercity Public Transit -call (308) 761-8747 to book your roundtrip ride from Chadron for $30/person.
